Act 2:9-11

 9  Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,       
10  Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya around Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,       
11  Cretans and Arabians, we hear them speaking the great things of God in our own languages.      

Interpretation:
       First we see how many different nations were there at Pentecost and how many different languages must have been spoken.  We also see here that they were not just speaking just to be speaking, they were speaking of the great things of God!  That is the key issue... God and the things of God!  We were created for Him and one of the purposes that we are here is to Praise Him.  That is... to declare how awesome He is and proclaim the great things He has done. 

Application:
      CONVICTING!!!  I know what God is saying to me... "SPEAK UP"  I know for a while I have been silent concerning Jesus.  I pray for the boldness to speak up and the passion for Jesus like never before.  God you are real and I want to let the world know it!
