Act 2:6  Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because  that every man heard them speak in his own language.

Interpretation:
       So after some time passes by, there were a lot of people that heard them speaking... and all the people were blown away because they heard these men speaking in their own language, but not just speaking anything.  They were speaking of the God and His Glory!  Probably speaking some things that no one else would know except the people listening.  This was the factor that caught their attention and opened them up to receiving from these men in the upper room. 

Application:
      Practically if they would have just been speaking of nothing, even if it was in a different language it would not have done any good.  The fact that they were speaking of God had the most impact.  I pray that my speech would be more intentional and lead by God.  I want to speak truth in love and share about Jesus more... I am making a point to share something about Jesus or the Word to at least one person every day.
