Acts 2:1

Acts 2:1   When the day of pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Interpretation:
Pentecost is a celebration or memorial of God giving the ten commandments at Mount Sinai fifty days after the Exodus of Israel out of Egypt.  And when it says "they were all in one accord" it is referring to the apostles, according to the verse right before this one.  Now what is one accord?  From what I gather is just means together, but not just physically or literally in same place as each other.  I believe it means in every aspect.. mentally, spiritually, and literally all together in the one (the same) place.

Application:
I think practically... these people had things set up in their lives as altars of remembrance.. and i want to have things like that in place to remind me of what God has done and the promises He has given.   Maybe from this day on start marking my calender and having my own little celebration of things that God has done..  Because it is too easy to forget and it is very encouraging to remember.
Another point is that the apostles were all together (like minded) and spent time together... I want to find people who are like minded and spend more time with them, because the company you keep DOES have an effect on you!  For the good or the bad, I can choose either one.
